We are a provisional Rotary club that meets on line. Our mission is to extend Rotary to business, professional and community leaders throughout District 5300 who are unable to meet traditional attendance requirements. This may be because of extensive travel, professional demands, physical immobility, or residence beyond reasonable distance from an existing Rotary club.

Rotary eclubs are groups of Rotarians linked by the Internet instead of the traditional lunch/breakfast or dinner gathering. As a provisional club, we have all the rights and privileges of a Rotary club, but we cannot participate fully in Rotary International. That requires chartering. We cannot gain our charter until we have at least 25 members.

Like land-based Rotary clubs, we foster friendship and good will among our members and we adhere to the Object of Rotary and to the principles of the Four-Way Test. We have our own constitution and bylaws.

Our main area of focus is persons of good standing who live and/or work in District 5300 in California and southern Nevada, or persons elsewhere who have a strong connection with the District, such as former Rotarians of the District.

We also provide online make-up opportunity for Rotarians from any club anywhere. Our members meet on-line to coordinate service projects and enjoy fellowship with like-minded Rotarians.

  1. How will you do your meetings? On your website? Local meetings? Skype?? Interested to learn more of your plans for the structure of this club.

    • Hi Larry, thanks for visiting us! The way we handle meetings is that members will visit the club website and read the weekly program on a weekly basis. Some eClubs require some sort of check in however we have decided to try it on the honor system. The Policies page on the Membership drop down will answer a lot of your questions. Best regards!
